The Antique Fireplace Company offer Old Victorian fireplaces,
Edwardian, Georgian, Art Nouveau, Arts and crafts fireplaces,
sizes vary from small reclaimed cast iron fireplaces for
bedrooms to complete combination fireplaces.
Surrounds, Mantels and Hearths
The Antique Fireplace Company also offers tiled inserts, arched
inserts, cast iron surrounds, marble surrounds, wooden and slate
mantles, surrounds mantels and hearths.
Period Tiles
Beautiful tiles are incorporated in many of the antique
fireplaces and there is also a selection of original Victorian,
Edwardian, Georgian, Art Nouveau or Arts and Crafts tiles to
choose from.
Restored to a High Standard
All our reclaimed cast iron fireplaces have been carefully restored
to a high standard. Old bolts or nuts in poor condition are
replaced; the backs on our reclaimed cast iron fireplaces have
been through a high-pressure paint and rust removal system to
expose the bare iron. The rear of the reclaimed cast iron
fireplaces are then sprayed with an anti-corrosive paint to
avoid rusting and the front with a traditional grate polish,
giving a high quality and lasting finish.
All reclaimed cast iron fireplaces are shown for use as solid
fuel fires, which they were originally designed for; most can be
supplied with gas fires at an additional cost, from the market
leader Magiglo.
